Refresher: Another member of AA in a meeting I attend developed a way to start working the Twelve Steps – using The Big Book of Alcoholics Anonymous, and The Twelve Steps and Twelve Traditions. I am passing along what I am working – step-by-step, and have inserted some Bible verses that both convict and comfort me.

Step 3: Made a decision to turn our will ad our lives over to the care of God as we understood Him.
- Write out the way you understood God and write in detail how you understand Him today.
- Read in the Big Book, Chapter 5, page 58 to the bottom of page 63.
- Memorize the third step prayer and take this step this week, either with a spiritual friend, or the group.
